Vaasthu Sastra - Master Bed Room

Vaasthu Sastra - Master Bed Room
The Master Bed Room is the room which accommodates the head of the family who shoulders the responsibilities of the family.

This Bed Room is formed in the South West Corner of the house. South West Corner is called Nyruthi Moolai or Kanni Moolai in Tamil Vaasthu terminologies. This is also called Gubera Moolai.

This is the room, where heavy material, heavy furniture and valuables should be kept.

It is preferable that the ground level of this room is constructed slightly higher than the other parts of the house.

There should not be a door or outlet in this room except the main entrance to the room.

Ventilation to this room like windows and ventilators should also be to the minimum required extent.

It is advisable that the South West Corner of this room is in a closed state without any window or ventilator.

The Bath Room and Toilet if attached to this room should not be in the South West Corner.

Heavy material like Bureau or Almirah should be placed in the South West Corner.

The Cot provided for bedding should preferably be close to the South West Corner of the room, if the Master Bed Room is enough wide.

Chairs, Study/Computer Table etc if accommodated in the room should be close to the North or East Side wall of the room - but not touching the wall
